HEAVEN'S GATE

I long to see my Father's house
and the beauty that awaits...
when my final steps in life are through,
I'll run to Heaven's Gate.

There, He'll take me by the hand,
His love will shine so great...
all my loved ones will be there,
as I run to Heaven's Gate.

I'll finally see this paradise
and be reckoned with my fate...
I know my Father holds the key,
to the lock on Heaven's Gate.

I'll hear the band of angels sing,
I'll see no fear or hate...
only love and happiness,
inside of Heaven's Gate.

AT HEAVEN'S GATE

Hurry, children, do not be late;
your Father's calling at Heaven's Gate.
The angels are singing a hymn or two,
heaven is waiting just for you.

In just a minute, you'll see His face...
shining down, from a beautiful place.
The Father's love for you is great,
that's why He's calling at Heaven's Gate.

Forever to live with Him on High,
never to suffer, never to cry...
only beauty and love awaits,
just go towards God, at Heaven's Gate.

MY PERSONAL ANGEL

Every now and then, the Lord will send someone along our way,
Someone that spreads sunshine when the clouds cover our day,
This person knows what to say, is unselfish and kind,
It seems the Lord delivers them at just the right time.

I do believe there are angels among us, I spoke with one today.
I listened to this humble soul, truly speaking to God as he prays.
I didn't see a halo but I'm sure it's tucked underneath his hat,
And his wings are hidden too by the suit coat on his back.

This angel has a mustache as gray as the hair on his head,
Never thinks of himself, but is praising the Lord instead.
If you look upon this angel's feet, he wears black patent shoes,
Speaks to all his brothers and sisters, talking of God's news.

Someday the Lord will praise him as he enters into Heaven's gate.
"Well done my good and faithful servant, your life on earth was great.
Dear one, I have something to show you, it's not far, just over the hill.
This gift is for the times you confessed my name and did my holy will."

"You never betrayed me, always spoke my name and never turned away,
I want you to have this gift as I promised, upon this glorious day."
There will stand a mansion our earthly minds cannot perceive,
The Lord will say, "Take this gift for all the times you truly believed."

His eyes will fill with tears and once more he will thank the Lord.
He will fall to his knees and bless Him for His glorious word.
When the years have passed and I'm longing for boost of his endless faith,
I will just imagine Brother Gardner walking along Heaven's gate.

HEAVEN'S GATE IS OPEN

Heaven's Gate is just beyond
a place where angels sing...
where beauty reigns forever
and love is a wonderful thing.

Heaven's Gate cannot be found
on earth as we have lived...
we cannot buy or sell it,
it's not our own to give.

Heaven's Gate is in a place
where angels dare to trod...
and only through salvation,
will we know our loving God.

Heaven's Gate can be our home
when our days on earth are through...
just give your heart to Jesus,
and He'll open the gate for you.

AS I WALK THROUGH HEAVEN'S GATE

What a lovely place to be,
where the light of love awaits...
where God is reaching for my hand,
as I walk through Heaven's Gate.

What a mansion to behold...
what a sight to contemplate...
streets of gold for miles and miles,
as I walk through Heaven's Gate.

I see the angels bowing down,
in a gentle holy way...
just to greet me in the air,
as I walk through Heaven's Gate.

My soul has found a way to fly,
in a place so pure and great...
I know I'm home forevermore,
as I walk through Heaven's Gate.
